Life hurts…
Life hurts.
There are seasons when the weight of life feels more than we can bear. Pain comes uninvited. It stirs deep emotions, raises difficult questions, and sometimes leaves us walking through shadows we never expected. Hurt is real, and it is painful to endure.
The good news is that God understands our pain. Jesus Himself entered into suffering. Hanging on the cross, He cried out, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?” He knows what it is to grieve, to suffer, and to carry sorrow. We never walk through pain alone because our Savior has walked that road before us.
Thank God He knows.
He knows our brokenness. He knows our failures, our pride, our selfishness, and the sin that separated us from Him. Yet, in His great love, God did not leave us there. He had a plan to redeem us, restore us, forgive us, and make us new. Through Christ, He makes what is broken whole and brings hope where there once was despair.
As followers of Jesus, we share not only in His glory but also in His suffering. There are valleys before there are mountaintops, tears before triumph, and nights before morning. Yet God’s promises remain true. Scripture reminds us, “Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
So hold on.
Hang in there.
God knows your pain. He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and understands every burden you carry. The darkness will not last forever. In His time, He will bring comfort, healing, and joy again.
The night may be long, but morning is coming. And one day, we will rejoice again.
